Community mobilization is an action that aims to encourage the populations of a given community, to participate in the improvement of a difficult situation that the same population is facing. As far as the "Health Promotion" is concerned, we are working in order to involve them to improve health’s indicators that can be more or less alarming.

Increase the use of basic health services for mothers, children and adolescents through:

Under the patronage of the sub-division Officer and the Lolodorf Council, FIS Cameroon, as a prelude to the 52nd edition of the National Youth Day, in partnership with the Health District, is organizing a free HIV testing campaign in the city of Lolodorf.

The objectives of this project are: - the creation of a favorable environment for improving local results PMTCT / SR, - facilitating the access of at least 3697 women of childbearing age to services SR / PMTCT – and the loyalty of at least 761 pregnant women and their children in the SR / PMTCT and pediatric HIV.

To resolve the problem of distance to health centers, FIS donated a sport bike to the district health center of Lolodorf. The several tours carried with the community motorbike in the villages facilitated the treatment offered to the targeted population directly and indirectly.

There are 27 « Mums Light » who serve as a link between health centers the area of the population benefiting from the project, be they pregnant women, their spouses, children and women of child bearing ages.

Gavi/CSO is a project that mobilizes community base organizations to effectively participate in the promotion of vaccination and the strengthening of health systems. It aims at making vaccination a right to all.
