FIS expertise required for Community engagement consultation.

Having noticed that just little community engagement updated data on the Global grants implementation are available, the CLAC (Action Communautaire pour le Leadership Collaboratif), “through Affirmative Action”, just held a day training session on community engagement and grant implementation. The objective of the consultation is to emerge and gather different perceptions and orientations on community engagement through definitions, principles and Global Fund recommendations in order to improve key population Grant’s health impact.

Around 15 CSO, among them “FIS” attended the consultation and shared experiences. At the end of the training session, a maximum ten (10) pages report will be writen and send to Global Fund for several purposes and recommendations. The report should in addition demonstrate participant’s motivations. More than Global Fund documentation, the report will also help CBOs and NGOs to seize the opportunities, approaches and mechanisms to reinforce community commitment and elaborate principles and good practices, necessary for their interventions.
